This newly constructed lake home features 2600 square feet with 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms for sleeping accommodations for up to 12 people. The home sits on a double lot with 80' of lake-frontage and features a sandy bottom swimming area. The lake is clean and deep for all types of lake activities including great fishing with many different species. There is a dock and boat lift if you choose to bring your own boat or a pontoon, deckboat, and/or PWC’s are available to rent. The lot is sodded with green grass for yard games and also has a 20' x 20' lakeside deck with 3 picnic tables and a built in fire pit for relaxing. The home is fully appointed with a 1000 square foot covered deck with ceiling fans and surround sound. The deck and lower level are handicap accessible. Building my own lake house in 2007 was a dream come true after spending summers on a lake growing up. Memories of spending time with family and friends splashing around in the lake, capping the night off with campfires roasting marshmallows, and watching the stars from the hot tub shaped how I designed everything from family rooms overlooking the lake, to the sandy beach and large dock. The open floor plan is spaciously (3200 sq ft) designed to accommodate as many as 10 comfortably – with two family rooms (one up and one down), numerous board games and a ping pong table for inside recreation. The upstairs family room opens into the kitchen and boasts a warm cozy fireplace for winter nights. There are TV’s with cable and DVD players throughout. The master bedroom has access to an upper level deck and view of the lake as well as a master bath with a whirlpool bathtub. In addition to the master, there are three additional bedrooms (queen, 2 twins, and one full) as well as a queen size pull out bed in the upstairs family room. Complete linens, blankets, and pillows are supplied. In addition to the master bath, there are two full bathrooms (one up and one down). All linens are supplied– including dedicated towels for the beach and hot tub. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, barware, and utensils, as well modern appliances (including such things as coffee maker, blender, dishwasher and microwave). There is a large gas grill on the upper deck for easy access to the kitchen, and outdoor furniture and dining table on the lower deck. For evening campfires, there is a fire pit. For outdoor recreation, the 3-car driveway doubles as a basketball court with an adjustable hoop. For the oversized back yard, we offer a number of yard games, and there are numerous fishing poles, water toys and flotation rafts for water recreation off the beach and dock. The house sits in a semi-private cove, nestled behind a lily pad that allows for direct access to the lake, but sits back a bit resulting in slightly less traffic. There are four kayaks and a paddle board for greater access to the lake. Because the lake is private, there is no public access to the boat ramp and there are NO BOAT RENTALS available for this property. Within two miles of the house, May through November, Texas Township offers a Farmers Market where local vegetables, meats, sweets, snacks and flowers abound. Close to the Farmers Market, bike routes can be accessed for hours of off-roading and groomed trails for less adventuresome bike-riding.

There is also a laundry room and half bath on the main floor. Upstairs includes the master bedroom (queen bed), an outside deck with lake views and a new, beautiful master bath. In addition to the master, there are three additional bedrooms (2 queen bedrooms and one bunk bedroom). A pack n' play is available if needed. Linens, blankets, towels and pillows are supplied.
